Richard K. Nongard is an internationally renown author, educator and entertainer. Richard's background is diverse and exciting. As a teen, was one of Eugene Burger's first magic students in Chicago and had a thriving magic show career, which helped put him through college.
In 1994, sensing the need for more accesible continuing education coursework, he created PeachTree Professional Education, Inc., and www.FastCEUs.com, a company devoted to providing unique, quality state and national board approved continuing education CEU courses - in live, online and homestudy formats - for mental health counselors, social workers, psychologists, substance abuse counselors, CNE for nurses, probation and community supervision officers, case managers, and other behavioral health professionals.
Richard has presented live continuing education workshops across the United States and in Europe on subjects from professional ethics to suicide intervetion and prevention, psychosexual disorders, family violence, ADD/ADHD, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, addiction treatment, anger, anxiety, depression, clinical hypnosis, and more. He has been an instructor at the European Branch of the American Counseling Association's annual conference, and will present a course on clinical hypnotherapy at the American Counseling Association's annual conference in Hawaii, in March 2008.

Richard has performed both single- and dual-hypnotist stage hypnosis shows on the Las Vegas Strip (KRAVE/Harmon Theater at Planet Hollywood Miracle Mile Shops, and practices street hypnosis, magic and mentalism at pubs around the country.
He has taught 'Speed Trance' instant hypnotic inductions with co-creator John Cerbone at the Hypnoticon.org convention in Atlanta, and will be teaching a complete Stage Hypnosis training class in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in June 2008.
